\nThis tool allows you to instantly generate a standardized text file template for device reimage requests from any browser tab. Follow these steps to save the tool to your bookmarks bar and run it during a deployment.<\/p>\n

## \ud83d\udee0\ufe0f Step 1: Initial Setup (One-time only)<\/p>\n
To use this tool, you must first save it as a smart bookmark (bookmarklet) in your browser:<\/p>\n
1. Open Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
\n2. Press Ctrl + D to create a temporary bookmark of whatever page you are currently looking at.
\n3. In the small configuration window that pops up, change the name to exactly: “\ud83d\udce5 Generate Reimage Template”.
\n4. Click the More… button at the bottom of the pop-up to expand the settings.
\n5. In the URL address field, delete the existing web link entirely.
\n6. Double-click the attached “reimage_bookmarklet.txt” file on this OneNote page to open it in Notepad.
\n7. Press Ctrl + A to highlight everything in the text file, then press Ctrl + C to copy it.
\n8. Go back to your browser window and press Ctrl + V to paste that code directly into the empty URL field.
\n9. Click Save.
\n10. Ensure your browser’s favorites bar is visible by pressing Ctrl + Shift + B. If you don’t see your new bookmark on the bar, drag and drop it there from your settings menu for quick access.<\/p>\n

## \ud83d\udccb Step 2: How to Run it On-Site<\/p>\n
Whenever you need to create a reimage request document on-site, use your new shortcut:<\/p>\n
1. Click the “\ud83d\udce5 Generate Reimage Template” button directly on your browser’s favorites bar.
\n2. A customized modal window titled “DEVICE REIMAGE REQUEST” will instantly overlay on top of your screen.
\n3. Type in the Device Make \/ Model (e.g., Dell Latitude 5420).
\n4. Type in the Device Asset \/ Serial Number (e.g., CN-0X1234…).
\n5. Click the blue Download button.
\n6. A formatted text file named device-reimage-request-[SerialNumber].txt will automatically download to your local machine.<\/p>\n
