## 🛠️ Step 1: Initial Setup (One-time only)
To use this tool, you must first save it as a smart bookmark (bookmarklet) in your browser:
1. Open Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
2. Press Ctrl + D to create a temporary bookmark of whatever page you are currently looking at.
3. In the small configuration window that pops up, change the name to exactly: “📥 Generate Reimage Template”.
4. Click the More… button at the bottom of the pop-up to expand the settings.
5. In the URL address field, delete the existing web link entirely.
6. Double-click the attached “reimage_bookmarklet.txt” file on this OneNote page to open it in Notepad.
7. Press Ctrl + A to highlight everything in the text file, then press Ctrl + C to copy it.
8. Go back to your browser window and press Ctrl + V to paste that code directly into the empty URL field.
9. Click Save.
10. Ensure your browser’s favorites bar is visible by pressing Ctrl + Shift + B. If you don’t see your new bookmark on the bar, drag and drop it there from your settings menu for quick access.

## 📋 Step 2: How to Run it On-Site
Whenever you need to create a reimage request document on-site, use your new shortcut:
1. Click the “📥 Generate Reimage Template” button directly on your browser’s favorites bar.
2. A customized modal window titled “DEVICE REIMAGE REQUEST” will instantly overlay on top of your screen.
3. Type in the Device Make / Model (e.g., Dell Latitude 5420).
4. Type in the Device Asset / Serial Number (e.g., CN-0X1234…).
5. Click the blue Download button.
6. A formatted text file named device-reimage-request-[SerialNumber].txt will automatically download to your local machine.
*Note: If you change your mind or click it by accident, simply click Cancel to remove the form overlay from your screen without downloading anything.*
